Why is the water blue in some of my shipping bags ?
We add.methaline blue as a preventative to some types of fish and some ammonia neutralizer to all fish shipping bags to ensure to you get healthy arriving fish every time we have continued this practice for over 25 years and found it to be very beneficial.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
Once we have sent your order if its live it should be there the next day and on the rare occasion it turns up late still within 48rs ..Most times we try to use overnight services even for non-live products but this will often depend on services or freight charges to your area. HOW DO I RELEASE MY NEW FISH INTO MY TANK ?
Most of our fish are generally grown and packed in alkaline to neutral water with medium to high hardness .so its a good idea to replicate this in your aquarium. Also, ensure that you have neutralised all chlorine in your aquarium. There are several different ways to unpack live fish this is the way i prefer its to simply float the new bag of fish in your tank for about 10 mins to get water temp the same then add a little bit of your aquarium water to the bag from the tank there going into ,then wait maybe 3 to 5 mins ,then tip old bag water thru a net into a bucket ,then simply add your new fish to your tank then dispose of the old bag water .

Please note that you can not choose the sex of fish from us there usually just mixed males and females but were we state male fish or female fish you will get that sex of fish you ordered also if you order a stipulated pair that's stated 1m 1f. this is 1 male and 1 female guaranteed. (no purity of offspring are guaranteed).when you order off the actual fish page you get the fish you chose the actual fish ..
When ordering assorted colours we choose the colours and give you the best from what's in season.

HOW WE MEASURE OUR FISH ?
These days its widely understood throughout the aquarium hobby in Australia that you measure a fish from the tip of the nose to the tip of tail and fish generally should be most times within 5 mm of the size given .(most are oversize a cm or more in larger fish )
